I was transported back to another time ... the time we first met. In 1963, I had no idea you and Cate would form the backbone of one of my deepest, most reliable friendships, but here we are in 2008 and I revel in the exciting times you girls are experiencing as a celebration of turning 50! Despite your absences, I had a wonderfully memorable occasion earlier this month when a group of about 55 'nearest and dearest' helped me celebrate my 50th. It would've been wonderful to have you, Cate & Rosie there with me, but it wasn't to be. I totally agree with you about making sense with the head and the heart. What a fabulous life we have all had whether through living life through head or heart! Just know you're one of the most special people I have in my llife and in my family's life.
